Five Towers/Four Pillars

For anyone still fretting, don't. The site is still secure and you can continue to get your weekly fix from the people who love you.

Again, we could really use some help here. As you can see, we had 4 cleaners working on this chapter. One of our cleaners even worked through an injury to bring you Bleach this week. However, I have to stress that with even one or two more cleaners, we could have had this chapter done last night. As it is, we need a hand.

If any of you are willing to dedicate your time and effort to bringing the best Bleach scans possible to everyone else, please hit the 'Join Us' or 'Contact Us' links up in the navigation bar. The response has not been nearly as great as we have hoped. If we keep losing cleaners to life, we will not be able to bring you the quality work you've come to enjoy.

Edit by Storm: With the shoutbox gone for the time being I integrated the webchat client of Mibbit.com so you can talk to us, or each other, in realtime. It is a IRC client that runs inside your browser (no Flash or Java required) and automatically connects you to our channel on IRCHighway. No need to install any extra software on your computer and it's also compatible with a range of mobile devices. All you need to do is to click the WebIRC link in the navbar, input a nickname you'd like to use and click on "Join the chatroom" to enter our IRC channel. You will stay in there for as long as you keep the window open.

Site had been compromised

Today, just some hours ago, a fancy Grey-Hat Hacker, based in France, exploited a vulnerability of the site to gain access to the administrative functions. While no greater Havoc was caused he sent out a mass e-mail to all registered users to let the world know what a big-shot of a grey-hat hacker he is. Therefore, if you received that e-mail please disregard it. The security leak has been identified and the affected component, which is the shoutbox, will be pulled for the time being. Additionally the author of the component will be notified about the vulnerability.

Also, the IP-Range of the company from where the attack came will now be IP-banned from accessing the server - bye bye ovh.net, it's only to your dismay.

Six Hearts Will Beat As One

New chapter's out. That's all I got to say about it.

I'm sure a lot of you are noticing how late we are. This is tied in rather closely with previous posts in which we called for cleaners and/or a raw provider. This week's raw came out around midnight on Friday night, nearly 24 hours later than it usually does. This means we basically lost an entire day. And when a good number of us work during the week, a late raw means that we carry into weekdays and we get even slower.

We need more cleaners so we can do more work on the chapter on the weekend so we don't have to carry over into week. We need a raw provider who can get us a good clean scan of Jump when everyone else gets it. There was a speedscan up early Friday morning. So there was someone out there with a copy.  I'm sure there's a Ju-Ni fan out there who can get one, too.

Swang the Edge Down

Because I really can't resist a good pun, may I say that things are starting to... Heat up?

Yamamoto encircles Aizen and his diminutive army with searing flames, but the trapped traitor doesn't seem to care. He says they'll win without having to lift a finger. Does this mean the real battle is back in Hueco Mundo, where Ichigo is racing to save Orihime from exection at Ulquiorra's hands?

Unfortunately we won't know for a good 2 weeks. Kubo is out on an information gathering trip, no doubt thinking up some bizarre twist for the plot to take. I'm giving 10:1 that Aizen is trying to unite the Shinigami and Hollows against Hell itself.

On a more team-related note, response to our last call for cleaners and a raw provider haven't been as stellar as we'd hoped. If you think you can, try out our cleaning test. Send us an email or contact us through the forum or our IRC channel. Or just stop by anyway. We love company.
