I just noticed something. Last chapter ended with Tousen saying he couldn’t see anything. At all.
So……… Why does he then tell Hisagi that he can still see as a result of his hollowification? Something doesn’t add up.

I don’t recall any mention of him going Bankai. This is just his Shikai. Kubo wouldn’t do a Bankai without the usual big explosion/smoke/lightning he usually does. Kensei did his Bankai and got the usual fanfare.
Okay, page 4 of this chapter:
“What is Hirako’s Bankai…!?”
1) Shinji said “Irritate, Sakanade”
2) The title page does indeed say Bankai. I can at least recognize that little bit of Japanese by now. :p
“Falling block puzzle traps”, is shinji reffering to tetris?
It’s a quirk with death. Characters that are shown die at the end of a chapter are rewound to merely dying at the beginning of the next. It doesn’t always make sense
Do you remember what Shinji said when he introduced himself at Ichigo’s school? He explained his name in a weird name, then said something like “Inverting things is my specialty”. Well, we can’t say Kubo has no plan.
